Founder




Michael Holt

Founder
Michael Holt is an artist, producer, and creative strategist based in Los Angeles.  With over a decade of experience in the arts and cultural sector, Holt brings a unique blend of creative vision and operational expertise to his work.

Holt's background spans theater, performance art, community organizing, and arts administration. He was a founding member of NAVEL, an experimental art space in Los Angeles, where he developed innovative models for collaborative governance and creative incubation. Previously, he served as Assistant Director of Marketing at Lincoln Center, overseeing membership and direct marketing efforts for multiple programs and festivals.

As a producer and curator, Holt has championed original creators and voices in the contemporary arts scene, working with artists such as SOPHIE, Justin Elizabeth Sayre, Jermaine Spivey, and Sebastian Hernández. His approach emphasizes inclusive decision-making, sustainable organizational structures, and the cultivation of enduring webs of relationships across time and space.

Holt holds a Master's degree in Performing Arts Administration from New York University and brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing artists and cultural organizations in today's rapidly changing landscape. His consulting work focuses on helping clients develop more collaborative, resilient, and impactful organizational systems.

Elaina Provencio

Collaborative Partner
Elaina Provencio is a Mexican-Indigenous filmmaker, producer, and artist based in Los Angeles. Their work include documentaries, art installations, as well as various fiction and non-fiction written works. They are inspired by their family’s history as activists and educators, following their move from Mexico to California as immigrant farm workers. Elaina currently serve as a consultant to various cultural projects and organizations through their work with the independent artist space NAVEL.

Spenser Theberge

Collaborative Partner
Spenser Theberge is a choreographer, performer, and educator based in Los Angeles. With work spanning from the proscenium stage to film to print, Spenser has collaborated with and created for organizations and artists including Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Juilliard School, Gothenburg Opera Dance Company, LA Dance Project, The Broad Museum, NAVEL, Taylor Swift, Savage Fenty, and The New York Times Magazine, among others. He is a former company member with the Nederlands Dans Theater and The Forsythe Company, as well as former faculty at CalArts School of Dance. Spenser is a YoungArts winner, a Princess Grace awardee, and a Presidential Scholar in the Arts. Spenser is a proud graduate of The Juilliard School and the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics.
