Privacy policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy explains what information familyaffairs.studio handles and why. The site is run by Family Affairs Studio LLC (“Family Affairs Studio”, “we”). Questions go to hi@familyaffairs.studio.
What this site collects
This site has no forms, accounts, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not set cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other third party when you load these pages.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify’s servers process technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so that the site can be delivered and protected from abuse. Netlify handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Your house lights setting
If you use the House lights switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply, to arrange bookings, press tickets and partnerships, and to keep a record of the conversation. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Other sites
This site links to other websites, including the sites for our productions, our Instagram account and the publications that reviewed our work. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you from your emails, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hi@familyaffairs.studio. Depending on where you live, including California, the United Kingdom and the European Union, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honour them.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and some of our work deals with adult themes.
Changes
If we change how the site handles information, for example by adding analytics or a newsletter sign-up, we will update this policy and the date above before the change takes effect.
